风力发电机并网以后,控制系统根据风速的变化,通过桨距调节机构,改变桨叶攻角以调整输出电功率,更有效地利用风能。在额定风速以下时,此时叶片攻角在零度附近,可认为等同于定桨距风力发电机,发电机的输出功率随风速的变化而变化。当风速达到额定风速以上时,变桨距机构发挥作用,调整叶片的攻角,保证发电机的输出功率在允许的范围内。
变桨系统是风力发电机组的重要组成部分,主要功能是通过对叶片节距角的控制,实现大风能捕获以及恒速运行。变桨系统还是风力发电机组的主刹车系统,电动变桨系统可以使每个桨叶独立地调整角度。通常一个完整的交流或直流变桨系统主要包括3个电动机(包括刹车,编码器,温度传感器,冷却风扇等),3个带驱动器的轴控制柜以及3个备电源柜,以及相关的电缆和插头。所有这些部件都装在轮毂内。
目前,我国变浆系统产品主要依赖进口,代表性的有SSB、LUST、Mita、Bosch Rexroth等;国内主要有桂林星辰、连云港杰瑞、成都阜特有批量应用,和利时、天津瑞能相关产品也在进行测试中。
