据国家统计局数据显示，今年9月，中国工业机器人产量2.31万套，同比增长逾五成。全年累计工业机器人产量超过16万套，同比增长18.2%。梁锐指出，目前中国大陆地区的机器人密度为187台，虽超过世界平均水平，但较世界新加坡918台的密度，还有很大的进步空间。机器人使用密度是指每万名工人配套使用工业机器人的数量，该指标是反映一个国家制造业水平的重要参数。ABB董事长傅赛（Peter Voser）此前在接受界面新闻等记者采访时表示，考虑到工业机器人密度水平等因素，中国的机器人市场仍将极具成长性。傅赛指出，中国是ABB机器人产业的主要目标和工作重心，因此有必要在上海建造全新的机器人工厂。去年9月，ABB大的机器人生产基地在上海动工。建成后，它将与瑞典工厂、美国工厂共同构成ABB全球机器人供应体系。这一全新的生产基地被称为“机器人超级工厂”，该厂总投资1.5亿美元（约合人民币10亿元），占地面积约6万平方米，相当于八个足球场大小。梁锐向界面新闻记者表示，该项目目前正在按计划如期推进。按照当前的进度，早可能在明年12月底就能投入使用。届时，ABB在中国的工业机器人年产能将达到10万台。

Robot usage density refers to the number of industrial robots per 10000 workers. This index is an important parameter reflecting the level of a country's manufacturing industry.
In an interview with reporters such as interface news, abb chairman Peter Voser said that considering factors such as the density level of industrial robots, China's robot market will still be very growing.
Fu Sai pointed out that China is the main goal and work focus of ABB's robot industry, so it is necessary to build a new robot factory in Shanghai.
Last September, ABB's largest robot production base began construction in Shanghai. After completion, it will form ABB's global robot supply system together with Swedish factories and American factories.
This new production base is called "robot super factory", with a total investment of 150million US dollars (about 1billion yuan), covering an area of about 60000 square meters, equivalent to the size of eight football fields.
Liang Rui told the interface news reporter that the project is currently progressing as planned. According to the current progress, it may be put into use as early as the end of December next year. By then, ABB's annual production capacity of industrial robots in China will reach 100000 units.
